See Andrew McMahon & Lindsey Stirling’s Video For “Something Wild”

Last month, violinist Lindsey Stirling announced her new collaboration with Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness. The pair wrote a new song called “Something Wild,” and the single came out on July 15th. Andrew and Lindsey wrote the song forDisney’s upcoming movie, Pete’s Dragon, a remake of the 1977 film of the same name. The updated movie hits theaters on August 12th.

Today “Something Wild” gets a new music video to go with it! The video shows Lindsey playing her violin in a sunny park or a nighttime desert while Andrew plays his upright piano in a cozy room. They are interspersed with scenes from Pete’s Dragon, as the two children follow a map to new adventures. It’s a great video that captures the empowering song’s message and spirit.

  • I love this song, but really it should be “Andrew McMahon In The WIlderness ft. Linsdsey Stirling”… I also don’t understand all her odd gyrations, she could stand still and play and it would be a lot cooler! I guess if it gets kids into classical music and playing instruments, more power to her, but for me, that weird dancing stuff doesn’t do anything for me.
